Shūto Machino (町野 修斗, Machino Shūto; born 30 September 1999) is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a striker for Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach and the Japan national team. Machino was called-up for the national team to represent Japan at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, as a replacement for the injured Yuta Nakayama.

Chiyonokuni Toshiki (Japanese: 千代の国 憲輝; born 10 July 1990 as Toshiki Sawada (澤田 憲輝, Sawada Toshiki)) is a Japanese former professional sumo wrestler from Iga, Mie. He made his professional debut in May 2006 and reached the top makuuchi division for the first time in January 2012. He reached the highest rank of maegashira 1, but he has also been restricted by injuries, falling to the sandanme division in 2015. He staged another comeback and then once again had a serious injury in 2019, which sent him down the ranks. He made a final comeback which saw him stagnate in the second half of the jūryō division before his demotion and retirement. He is a member of Kokonoe stable where he is an elder under the name Sanoyama.

Hiroshi Nakai (中井 洽, Nakai Hiroshi; 10 June 1942 – 22 April 2017) was a Japanese politician serving in the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature) as a member of the Democratic Party of Japan. He was born in Jilin, China on 10 June 1942, then part of Manchukuo. A graduate of Keio University he was elected for the first time in 1976 after an unsuccessful run in 1972. Nakai died on 22 April 2017 from stomach cancer at the age of 74.
